According to the US Edmunds Auto Network reported on May 12, Ford announced that it will recall 12,328 2015 F-150 pickups in North America. The axles of these vehicles have hidden troubles or cause steering failure.
Ford said it has not received an incident report related to the failure. But there have been incidents of brake failure. Ford said in the statement that the upper I-axis of the hidden vehicle is riveted improperly and may break. Once this happens, it is easy to cause brake failure without warning and increase the risk of collision.
The recalled vehicles were produced at the Kansas City facility in the United States and will be off the assembly line from March 19 to March 21, 2015.
