Standby at O’Hare Airport, 1-7-20

Here's a message from Dan McInerney:

United Airlines flight 772 (B772, N782UA, ORD to NRT) on January 7th, 2020
This United Airlines Boeing 777 had to make an unexpected return to O'Hare after experiencing engine trouble while flying over northern Wisconsin. The Chicago Fire Department quickly mobilized with a full ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting) team and escorted the aircraft back to the terminal. As the plane turned around, you can clearly see that the #2 engine was shut down, as there was no visible exhaust trail. The photos only show a small portion of the response — the Chicago Fire Department is known for having one of the most extensive and well-equipped ARFF teams in the world, making them a critical part of airport safety.
