MVA with entrapment in Buffalo Grove, 6-15-16

On Wednesday at noon, Buffalo Grove police and firefighters responded to a two-vehicle collision on Weiland Road, just north of Deerfield Parkway. Both drivers were injured in the crash, with significant damage to one of the vehicles making it difficult to extract the occupants. A "pin-in" response was initiated, meaning emergency personnel had to stabilize the vehicle before safely removing the patients. At the scene, two fire engines, two ambulances, and Battalion 4 were deployed, along with several police officers. One injured individual was taken to Northwest Community Hospital, while the other was transported to Condell Hospital.
