New engine for the Elburn & Countryside FPD

Posting live from the Fire Service, Inc. Facebook page! I just saw some awesome new gear rolling into the scene, and I couldn’t help but share this exciting update with all of you. Congratulations go out to the Elburn-Countryside Fire Protection District in Illinois for adding a brand-new 2019 E-One Typhoon engine to their fleet! This is definitely a game-changer for them, and it looks like they’re stepping up their operations with cutting-edge technology. The specs on this beauty speak volumes: It’s built on an impressive Typhoon chassis with a sleek stainless steel body. Under the hood, you’ll find a powerful Cummins L9 engine, ensuring reliable performance every time they hit the road. The truck features a low-profile hose bed, which not only improves visibility but also enhances maneuverability at fire scenes. The Hale QMAX pump adds another layer of capability, while the 1000-gallon water tank ensures they can handle even the largest fires effectively. And let’s not forget about the FoamPRO system—this is a real asset when dealing with flammable liquid fires. I managed to snap some photos of Engine 301, which is now proudly serving the community. Check out the images below to see just how sharp and professional this rig looks. The craftsmanship really stands out, and it’s clear that Fire Service Inc. put a lot of effort into making sure this vehicle meets the highest standards. This addition is bound to make a huge difference for the firefighters in Elburn-Countryside. Not only does it provide them with state-of-the-art tools, but it also boosts morale knowing they have access to such high-quality equipment. Kudos to everyone involved in bringing this project to life! Let me know what you think about this new acquisition in the comments section. If you’re following any other departments getting fresh gear lately, drop those stories here too—I’d love to hear all about it. Stay safe out there, everyone!
