Citizen Seiki developed a large-diameter re-cut CNC automatic lathe

Citizen Machinery (Nagano Prefecture, Miyota-machi) will be launched on April 25, 2008 for the new product "A32-VII" of the small CNC automatic lathe "Cincom" series. This model improves the mechanical structure of the "A20" series of the CNC automatic lathe for the spindle table, and increases the rigidity to the maximum machining diameter to 32mm. The models are available in standard and non-guided versions with right and left spindles. The standard price is 97.44 million yen (including tax).

In order to increase the rigidity, the configuration of the linear guide is improved, and the moment load is reduced. The bed structure is made of tube structure and middle rib structure, so the cutting marks are also uniform during heavy cutting. In order to increase the rigidity of the front and rear spindles, a structure that strongly supports the main shaft is adopted for the torque in the high practical region and the increase in the thickness of the main shaft.

By improving the mechanical rigidity, the cutting conditions such as deep depth, high-speed feed, and high-speed spindle rotation are satisfied. For the fast feed rate of each axis, the X1 axis is 32 m/min and the other axes are 45 m/min. In terms of the rotational speed of the main shaft, the front and back surfaces are both 200 to 8000 rpm. The number of tool installations is 23. In addition, because the new lathe has a design that can work at high speed even in the case of short-distance movement, the machining time is also shortened.

The company is scheduled to exhibit A32-VII at the "Japan Electromechanical Technology Exhibition 2007" (Nagoya Port Messe) held on October 17-20, 2007.
