3-Alarm fire in Harvey, 5-5-16

(19:00 hrs, May 5, 2016) Harvey firefighters are currently on the scene of a commercial fire at the intersection of 155th Street and Broadway. The blaze is spreading through a long block of buildings, and emergency crews are working hard to contain the flames and prevent further damage.

Residents in the area were advised to stay indoors and avoid the vicinity due to smoke and potential hazards. Firefighters are still working to bring the situation under control, and no injuries have been reported at this time.
