Huaiyang, Henan Province: Fireworks Factory Explosion Causes Identification of Irregular Operation by Workers

On the 19th, the Huaiyang County Party Committee Propaganda Department of Henan Province disclosed that the cause of the explosion at the fireworks factory which caused the death of 7 people and injured 12 people on the morning of the 18th had been identified, and the workers were not caused by the standard operation.

At around 10:30 on the 18th, an explosion occurred in the Dongtun fireworks factory in Lutai Town, Huaiyang County, killing five people on the spot, killing two people and killing 12 people. The safety production license of the fireworks factory has expired, and the fireworks factory is in the process of suspending production and rectification, which is an illegal production. At present, the police are actively arresting its legal representative Zhang Jingfeng, and the other two factory workers have been controlled by the police.
