On June 28th, Yuchai Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. officially launched the second phase of its technical upgrading project with a grand ceremony. The project is situated within the industrial concentration area in the northern part of Luchuan County, specifically at the Yuchai Industrial Park. This milestone marks a significant step forward for Yuchai Group in its ongoing development and growth strategy. The project's commencement is expected to greatly accelerate the industrial progress of Luchuan, strengthening the region’s economic landscape.
The second phase of the technical renovation focuses primarily on excavation equipment. With a total investment of 250 million yuan, the project is divided into three key components: an annual production capacity of 3,000 units of YC200-YC250 hydraulic excavators, 3,000 units of YCH08 skid steer loaders, and 3,000 units of YCW790 backhoe loaders. Currently, the construction site is undergoing "three connections and one leveling" work, while project design, equipment procurement, civil engineering, and installation are all progressing smoothly. The project is expected to be completed and operational by early 2008.
Once fully operational, the second phase will significantly boost Yuchai Construction Machinery’s annual output, reaching 21,000 sets of construction machinery products. This is projected to generate an annual sales value of 6.52 billion yuan, with profits and taxes amounting to 650 million yuan. The completion of this phase will not only enhance product standardization but also better meet market demands, achieve economies of scale, and support Yuchai’s broader expansion into the construction machinery industry.
In addition, Yuchai has continued to gain recognition in the industry. In 2007, the company was honored with the “China Brand Annual Award No.1†in the internal combustion engine category, further solidifying its reputation as a leading player in China’s manufacturing sector.
