Winfield FPD General Alarm 3-26-14

At approximately 4:10 PM today, Winfield Fire Protection District (FPD) responded to a dryer fire that had not yet spread at 27W212 Providence Ct. Chief 31 arrived on scene and found smoke and fire coming from the overhead garage door and laundry room area of a two-story, four-unit condo complex measuring 150x50 feet. A single line was deployed, and the fire was quickly brought under control. The response included assistance from Carol Stream, West Chicago, and Wheaton fire companies.
