The electric diaphragm valve is jointly researched and developed by the engineering company and the Shangguan No.5 Factory. It has independent intellectual property rights. The main technical indicators are domestically leading and internationally advanced. It has many innovations such as prolonged service life, improved seismic performance and strong circulation capacity, and can be promoted and applied. For other nuclear power projects.
During the appraisal meeting, China Guangdong Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. introduced the design input of the electric diaphragm valve prototype of the “Hualong No. 1†demonstration project. The fifth valve factory reported the manufacturing process and identification test of the prototype. After reviewing relevant documents and materials, and looking at the production site, after inquiry, Q&A and discussion, the expert group unanimously agreed that the product prototype passed the appraisal.
The appraisal meeting was presided over by the leadership of Shanghai Nuclear Society. The experts of Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute served as the expert group leader of the appraisal meeting, the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, China General Machinery Industry Association, China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., China Nuclear Six experts from the Power Research and Design Institute and Zhongyuan Foreign Engineering Co., Ltd. formed an expert group for the appraisal meeting. Leaders of the Shanghai Nuclear Power Office, Shangshang No. 5 Plant, and CGN Nuclear Equipment Purchasing and Complete Center also participated in the review meeting.
