CBS Chicago reported the following:
Three individuals, including a Chicago firefighter, were hospitalized after an intense fire broke out in an apartment building located in the Buena Park neighborhood.
According to CBS 2's Mike Puccinelli, over 100 firefighters responded to the 2-11 alarm fire that started on the fifth floor of an apartment at 736 W. Buena Avenue.
The fire was first reported around 9:25 a.m. and quickly escalated, with heavy flames and smoke visible from several windows on the fifth floor.
A Chicago firefighter used an aerial ladder to rescue a man who had become trapped inside his apartment during the incident.
