According to statistics from Jiangsu Changshu Entry-Exit Inspection and Inspection Bureau, a total of 106 batches of automobile tires were imported from Changshu City, Jiangsu Province in 2013. The import volume reached 203,200, and the amount was 191.428 million US dollars.
Compared with 2012, the import batch of Changshu automobile tires increased slightly by 3.9% year-on-year; the number and amount increased significantly, by 21.2% and 11.9% respectively.
It is understood that Changshu automobile tires were mainly imported from Japan, Germany and Thailand in 2013, with the number reaching 153,500, 28,700 and 20,900 pieces respectively.
Most of the automobile tires imported from Changshu are radial passenger cars and a small number of tires for trucks and passenger cars .
