The Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) technology is a leading-edge biological solution for wastewater treatment, based on a core understanding of microbiology and treatment processes and intensive Research & Development by YIMEI.Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) consists of a tank with submerged but floating plastic (usually HDPE, polyethylene or polypropylene) media having specific gravity less than 1.0. The large surface area of the plastics provide abundant surface for bacterial growth. Biomass grows on the surface as a thin film whose thickness usually varies between 50-3 microns. Medium or coarse bubble diffusers uniformly placed at the bottom of the reactor maintains optimum dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration. To retain the media flowing out of the tank, screens are placed on the downstream walls. A clarifier or a DAF is placed downstream of the MBBR tank to separate the biomass and the solids from the wastewater. No sludge recycle is required for this process.

The outlet water from anoxic tank will flow into MBBR tank, the oxic biochemical treatment rely on autotrophic bacteria finish, they utilize organism resolve generate inorganic carbon or carbon dioxide in air as nutrients source, to make the ammonia nitrogen translate into NO2-N,NO3-N. a part of oxic tank outlet water enter into settling tank to sediment, another part backflow to anoxic tank to proceed anoxic tank to proceed internal recycle, to realize nitrifying purpose. All equip with padding in anoxic tank and oxic tank, the whole biochemical treatment process all rely on many kinds of microorganism to finish.
