**Introduction to Magnetic Separators:**

The wet magnetic separators are ideal for separating ferromagnetic minerals from non-ferromagnetic ones, while dry magnetic separators are designed for iron removal from dry powders.
The permanent cylindrical wet magnetic separator is widely used in mineral processing due to its large working clearance, deep magnetic field, and high capacity. It works by attracting magnetic minerals to the cylinder wall, allowing non-magnetic materials to be washed away. This makes it highly effective for continuous operations.
The separator's cylinder can be paired with three types of tanks—CTS, CTN, and CTD—for different separation needs. CTS is suitable for coarse and fine mineral concentration up to 6mm, CTN is ideal for finer particles (up to 0.6mm) and media recovery in coal preparation, while CTD is perfect for very fine materials (up to 0.5mm), especially for concentrating ultra-fine ores.
For dry applications, our permanent cylindrical dry powder magnetic separators come with one to four cylinders. They use strong NdFeB magnets, offering high efficiency, low maintenance, and energy savings. These separators are commonly used in industries such as grinding, fireproofing materials, non-metallic mineral processing, carbon black, food, feed, and chemical production.
**Working Principle:**
When pulp enters the tank of the magnetic separator, the magnetic minerals form lumps or chains under the influence of water flow. These are attracted to the cylinder and carried along as it rotates. Non-magnetic materials fall off and are discharged with the pulp, leaving the magnetic concentrate at the cylinder wall, which is then removed using water.
