Multi-vehicle crash in Buffalo Grove 2-19-20

Buffalo Grove police and fire crews responded to a multi-vehicle collision at Dundee Road and Golfview Terrace on Wednesday evening, February 19, 2020, during rush hour. Upon arrival, officers and firefighters found three vehicles involved in the crash, all showing moderate to heavy damage. Fortunately, no one was trapped inside the cars. Emergency medical personnel from Buffalo Grove and Arlington Heights arrived on the scene to assess the drivers of all three vehicles, but no hospital transports were necessary. The incident did not result in any serious injuries, though it caused significant traffic delays in the area. Firefighters remained on site for several hours to ensure the scene was safe and to assist with vehicle extrication. Local residents reported that the crash appeared to be caused by a sudden stop or possible speed-related issue.
