Gold Card Intelligence: Into the Water Sector to Extend Ultrasonic Water Meters

[China Instrument Network Instrumentation Enterprise] On April 21st, Gold Card Intelligence announced at the 2016 annual performance meeting that the company's current main products are civilian smart gas meters, industrial and commercial gas flow meters, smart gas management systems, and cloud platforms. In the future, the company will focus on the "intelligent" industry development trend, the layout of "Internet energy" to help build a smart city. The follow-up company will enter the field of water, extending to the direction of the ultrasonic smart water meter.

Ultrasonic intelligent water meter is a water meter that uses ultrasonic measuring technology to measure the water flow in the pipeline. It has characteristics of small pressure loss, high accuracy, convenient meter reading and long service life. It is understood that the principle of ultrasonic smart water meter is to install a pair of ultrasonic flow sensor in the water meter. The sensor will send out ultrasonic wave when the water passes through, and calculate the flow according to the time difference of the ultrasonic wave flowing through the water.
It is understood that users can easily view their own water consumption by installing ultrasonic smart water meters. It is also convenient for property companies to inquire about clearing water charges, instead of copying water meters at home. Where the water pipe fails or leaks, it can be monitored in real time. According to calculations, the leakage of water from the water pipes is generally around 30%, and it is generally difficult to find where the leaks are. Using an ultrasonic smart water meter can solve this problem, which is equivalent to saving 30% of water.
Recently, Jinka Smart and YZATEC Asia PTE ltd ("YaTek") plan to sign the "Zhejiang Kincay Tyco Intelligent Instrument Co., Ltd. Joint Venture Contract", and plans to jointly invest in establishing Zhejiang Jinka Yataike Intelligent Instrument Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Kinkyaktyco"), announced to enter the water meter industry. The newly established joint venture company will carry out its business in phases. In the first phase, it will manufacture and sell intelligent large-diameter ultrasonic water meters for the utility pipe network water meter market.

High Precision Machining is defined as a process of changing the dimensions or the performance of workpiece with machining facilities. 

According to the temperature of the workpiece while in machining, high precision machining can be divided into cold working and hot working. Usually, machining under indoor temperature, and won't change cause chemical change or phisical phase change is named cold working. On the other hand, if under temperature, higher or lower than room temperature, which will lead to chemical changes or phase changes, it will be called as hot working.

For high precision machining, the machining tolerance can be up to 0.0001-0.001mm, the surface finish Ra can be 0.02-0.1um.

Machining precision is to describe the actual geometrical parameter of the part after machining, such as the size, the form, the position, comparing with the theoretical geometry parameter.  The difference from these two parameters is the machining tolerance. The number of the difference show the machining accuracy, the bigger, the lower of the machining precision, the smaller, the higher machining precision.
