Seal test. 4 Experimental Requirements 4.1 Each valve should be pressure tested before leaving the factory. 4.2 The valve shall not be painted or otherwise impermeable to the coating prior to the completion of the shell test, but chemical-free rust-free treatment and liner lining shall be permitted. For painted stock valves, the user does not need to remove the coating if required to do a stress test again. 4.3 Before the seal test, the grease on the sealing surface should be removed, but a thin layer of protective agent with a viscosity no greater than that of kerosene should be applied. Grease-sealed valves should be applied to allow grease to be applied as designed. 4.4 During the test, the valve should not be subjected to external forces that may affect the test results. 4.5 Unless otherwise specified, the test medium temperature should be between 5 ~ 40 ℃. 4.6 The following test media is at the manufacturer's discretion, but should be in accordance with Table 1 and Table 2; a liquid: water (rust inhibitors can be added), kerosene or other suitable liquid with a viscosity no greater than; b gas: air or Other suitable gas. 4.7 When testing with liquid, the gas inside the valve cavity should be excluded. When testing with gas, safety precautions should be taken. 4.8 For sealing and sealing tests, it shall be closed in the manner given in the design. 4.9 Test pressure should be consistent with the provisions. 4.9.1 Shell test pressure according to the provisions of Table 1.
