The CXC-06 fiber tester digests the sample according to the currently used acid-alkali digestion method, and performs gravimetric measurement to obtain various crude fiber content of food, feed, and other instruments. The crude fiber analyzer can determine the content of crude fiber in various foods, feeds, grains, foods and other agricultural and sideline products, which is convenient and practical.
Determination of crude fiber content in pepper:
Samples were co-boiled with hot dilute acid and dilute alkali, and were separated by filtration, washed with residues, and then dried and ashed. The acid can be removed by hydrolysis of sugar, starch, pectin and part of the hemicellulose. Alkali can remove proteins, partially hemicellulose, lignin, and saponify fatty acids. It is treated with ethanol and ether. The residue obtained after drying is the crude fiber content minus the ash weight.
This principle is actually the instrumental principle of the crude fiber analyzer. Both use the acid-alkali digestion method, and then use the gravimetric method to measure. This is because the results obtained by the laboratory method and the crude fiber analyzer are almost the same. When using the laboratory method, it is more complicated, because all manual operations are completed, and when the crude fiber analyzer instrument is used, many complicated steps in the middle can be eliminated and the instrument is automatically completed.
