2010 China Association of Automotive Engineers off-road vehicle technology branch academic annual meeting

From October 28 to 29, organized by the China Association of Automotive Engineers Off-Road Vehicles Technical Subcommittee and Military Transportation College, the "2010 China Association of Automotive Engineers Off-Road Vehicle Technology Subcommittee Annual Meeting of the First Military Wheeled Vehicle Equipment Forum" was held in Tianjin Military Traffic. The college was grandly held and the theme of the conference was “SUV technical innovation and military wheeled vehicle equipment development”. Zhao Shenglu, Vice President of Beijing Institute of Technology, and Fu Yuwu, Executive Director and Secretary-General of China Automotive Engineering Society attended the meeting. They were leaders of relevant national ministries and commissions, relevant departments of the armed forces, experts from automobile industry organizations, well-known universities and research institutions in China. More than 240 delegates attended the meeting.

Fu Yuwu, executive director and secretary-general of the China Automotive Engineering Society, said in his speech that it is a good way to organize academic annual meetings with military academies. On the one hand, the development and progress of China's automobile industry over the years has always been inseparable from the concern of the headquarters of the armed forces, and cannot be separated from the long-term support of military academies and research institutions. On the other hand, the construction and development of military vehicle equipment has also been growing in the development of the national automobile industry for more than 50 years. It has always been closely linked with the development of the national automobile industry. This activity will carry out extensive ideological collisions and academic exchanges on the technical innovation of off-road vehicles and the development of military-wheeled vehicle equipment. It will be of great significance both for the local automobile industry and for the construction of military vehicle equipment.

Zhao Changlu, vice president of the Beijing Institute of Technology, attended the ceremony and extended his warm congratulations on the opening of the academic conference. He extended his warm welcome to the delegates and guests attending the conference. At the same time, they also briefed delegates on the development of Beijing Institute of Technology and the development of domestic off-road vehicle technology. The keynote report of the conference was presided over by Prof. Xiangchang Chang, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Vehicles of Beijing Institute of Technology and Chairman of the Off-Road Vehicle Technical Subcommittee. He also gave a keynote speech titled “Military Power Technology for Military Wheeled Vehicles”. Dr. Jun Li, Chairman of the International Federation of Automobile Engineering Societies 2012-2014, made a keynote speech titled “Accelerating the Upgrading of Military SUVs with Independent Innovation Technology”.

The rest of the experts in the off-road vehicle field also gave very exciting academic reports and enthusiastic academic exchanges around the theme of the conference. The annual conference set up five sub-venues for off-road vehicle vehicle technology, chassis technology and information technology, and three sub-forums for military-wheeled vehicle equipment support to carry out special academic exchanges. The participants held heated discussions around off-road vehicle technology innovation and the development of military wheeled equipment, exchanged academic achievements and stimulated innovative thinking. The academic atmosphere was very strong.

At the annual meeting, 320 submissions were received and more than 200 papers were selected for the collection. The SUV Technical Committee Secretariat organized experts to select 11 outstanding papers, and at the closing ceremony of the conference, the leaders of the Society presented prizes for the authors of outstanding papers.

During the conference, the off-road vehicle technical subcommittee academic committee held a working conference. The conference was chaired by Professor Chen Sizhong, a professor of Beijing Institute of Technology and the secretary general of the Off-Road Vehicle Technical Subcommittee. He also reported to the committee members on the work of the previous two years and proposed plans for the next two years. Meeting to discuss.

During the conference, delegates visited the performances of unmanned vehicles, military equipment, etc. The delegates further strengthened exchanges and enhanced understanding and mutual trust between different industries. Ststistically, compression strendth on the 1st day, the 3rd day and the 28th day after single application is increased by 60-90% and 25-60% respectively when it is added at standard blend dosage. As the result, compression strength, tensile strength, bucking strgth and modulus of elasticity will be improved to some extent.
