This means that when the driver releases the steering wheel, the tires will automatically return to the center position, making it easier to handle both slow rock crawling and high-speed driving. The number of turns required to move from lock to lock depends on the ram used in combination with the orbital unit. A detailed chart is provided to show how many turns are needed for different combinations, with recommended options highlighted in bold.

The 060 series hydraulic steer control unit is a monolithic, fully hydraulic system that combines multiple functions, including entry check valve, relief valve, manual steering check valve, cushion valve, and fill oil valve.
